📘 About Women’s Training College, Patna

Women’s Training College, Patna, established on 14th August 1951, is a premier government institution exclusively for women. As a constituent unit of Patna University and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi, it has been a center of excellence for over seven decades.

Located near Gandhi Maidan and adjacent to Magadh Mahila College, it was founded with the belief that “educating women means empowering communities.”

The college offers a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program blending strong academic foundations with hands-on teaching practice. With a dedicated faculty, inclusive campus environment, and a commitment to holistic development, it continues to empower women educators who lead and inspire.
